Located in the highly desirable Newbury Park community within the City of Thousand Oaks, the Hillcrest site boasts access to high-paying life sciences jobs, great schools, and a wealth of recreational opportunities. Hillcrest will be a Class A development consisting of 333 units with 6,500 square feet of retail and commercial space. The project will include upscale amenities, focused on health and wellness as well as convenient work at home solutions contemplated. The units will be designed with high end finishes, including upscale cabinetry, quartz countertops, designer lighting and smart technology. The project will include one, two, and three bedroom units averaging 948 square feet. Hillcrest will be Latigo’s second project in Thousand Oaks. Santal, the first project which features 142 units is expected to be delivered this fall. 

 

Thousand Oaks is also a hub for biotechnology firms with more than 25 prominent Life Science companies in the area. Over the last several years, the City has focused on the creative reuse of aging industrial property, as well as new construction for biotech companies. These companies have revitalized older industrial spaces, and have brought high-value, high wage jobs to the City. TLG received pre-approval from City Council in April 2021 and is moving forward with formal application as well as CEQUA compliance.
